Paul Meskill

Attached is a real "Mug" shot. Probably should have at least shaved and
put my glasses on straight, but seeing some of the displayed "Mug" shots
on this Pbase site, I decided to send this mug shot. Anyway here is my info.
Location: Southern Tier NYS. South of Rochester, NY (not far from the PA border, very rural).
I am retired, being a self employed Mfg. Engr.My present digital cameras include
a Olympus c3020z, an Olympus c7000z and of course the UZI (c-2100uz). Recently
I added a B-300 Converter lens that fits all three cameras. I have a whole bunch
of old film gear on loan to a private camera museum. For Software I use PSE2 Elements,
Gimp, Picasa2, FastStone, PokeScope, Digital 3D Photos, Helicon Focus, Autostich and
many other bits and pieces. I also have a CAD system, which allows import and
export of Digital pictures to a drawing program. I build my own and for friends, computers. (another hobby)
I am one of the early members to the AMYA, which is the governing body for
Radio Control Sailing in the USA, having served as a Past President and Director,
Advertising Manager etc., and currently I am on the staff of their magazine as
Features Editor. My interest in photography spans many years, having started in
High School with being a Beta tester for the then new Kodachrome film. Very
interested in 3D (Stereo) and I like to try new techniques such as Collage frames etc.
Very much, both an old experienced film person and a newbie digital user.

Advice: Take pictures that please you. Once you have that mastered, share
them with others for their critique on the forum. You can learn lots here.
