Garrett's Mill (pano)

Built in 1804, this scenic old mill is in Garrettsville, Ohio.
Not much demand for grinding local grain any more.
It's now a tavern.
I'm amazed when I see rivers running through towns like this. We seldom or never see things like this out west, except maybe in the upper northwest.

Thanks for the encouraging words, Sara. Hope you can visit someday too. Not to disillusion anyone though....just remember that I'm choosing the special "scenic isles" in a sea of "just like everywhere else," LOL! But there are plenty to enjoy!
