The Ohio flooding recently in the news was right here around Mentor.
Things were pretty saturated already when 10" of rain fell in one day,
overflowing streams and rivers and filling everything bowl-shaped to the brim.
In the sultry aftermath, a day a the beach sounded good, but access roads are
flooded (such as this one at Headlands Beach in Mentor) and the lake water is
temporaily unsafe to swim in due to sewage contamination from the flooding.

Seems ironic that you can't go to the beach to swim because you can't get there due to too much water.
