Flying close to a large mountain is usually not something a pilot really wants to do. Weather is the main factor. Calm and clear was the order of the day. :^)

incredible opportunity - so do flights not usually go this close to the mountain? or are at bad angles? You'd think the pilots would enjoy this flight pattern. Or is it that it's usually in clouds? Katherine
