Out visiting the wildflowers near the Carrizo Plain, this guy got out of his car,
played two numbers on his bagpipes, got back in the car, and went on his way.
Not something that happens every day, but we certainly appreciated it.

The Monet-like fields are delicious ... and bagpipes are definitely an open-air sort of instrument.

The appearance of the field most likely inspired him to pay tribute to the moment. Which you then did by paying tribute to both.

Interesting photo. The field beyond the musician has a painting like appearance to it, as if you can see the brush strokes.
