Vic Cooke

"The Church in Aurora" (Ohio)
------------------------------------------------
You'd think it was the only one in town with a name like that, but there are many others.
This is the oldest, built in 1870 for a non-denominational congregation dating to 1809.
With it's striking illumination at night, it is easily the dominant landmark in the town.
Like many other older structures in the Western Reserve, a strong connection reflecting
the New England roots of the early settlers here is apparent in its architecture.

Great Shot Vic. Nice of them to add the extra light for you. You must have called ahead!

Very nice Vic, The striking black background sets off the white and lighting of the church as it fades from the base toward the top of the steeple. Really nice!

A beautiful image.
(There's something very neat about a Canon photo :-)
