"The Church in Aurora" (Ohio)

You'd think it was the only one in town with a name like that, but there are many others.
This is the oldest, built in 1870 for a non-denominational congregation dating to 1809.
With it's striking illumination at night, it is easily the dominant landmark in the town.
Like many other older structures in the Western Reserve, a strong connection reflecting
the New England roots of the early settlers here is apparent in its architecture.
