I don't particularly remember the grass from the 80's either, but I think the tall grass adds a lot of interest to the shot.

Including the foreground was a nice touch. That sure is a tall lighthouse.

Nice shot of the Cape May lighthouse. That area certainly has changed. They didn't have all that grass back in the late '50s and early '60s.
