Katherine,
I like this one a lot. I've tried shots like this but they've never worked well. There's never enough contrast between the flames and the background. Using the lid makes all the difference.

Oh that is so lovely. The metal looks hard and cold, and the hot flame is alive. Some barbecue sauce maker needs this - canned heat!
