I've got it! I've got it!! It's covered with ivy. The first two letters of ivy are IV, the Roman Numeral for 4.

The vines on to the right @ the inside corner of the structure give the impression of the outline of a four that isn't closed at the top like this '4' is..... but I'm no M.E.N.S.A menber & it's quite vague....

Marvelous mental agility here! Bruce will have to explain the Springsteen thought to me. Katherine, it's not the Golden Girls, but I love your train of thought. Georgia, great perception, but it's far more obscure than four Ls. More hints - this was the first college building that met my requirements, and the fact that it's winter may make the connection less obvious.
