I had the honor of releasing this Red Tail Hawk back in to the wild on October 1, 2004. I just received this picture and a certificate in the mail today. This bird was found in Duluth MN. The Bird had a colliision with a vehicle. The bird injuries consisted of a concussion and eye trauma. The bird was brought into the U of MN Raptor Center on 7/11/2004. I don't know what camera was used to take the picture - and you can clearly see it was raining. The picture is not great photography - but it means a lot to me.
