Maybe it's my imagination, but my computer seems a little slow lately...

... and to think, the Commodore 64 can now be found in the Smithsonian's American History Museum.

I expected the blue screen of death too. I quote PC mag (May 2004):"MS claims the famous blue screen was picked
for simple readability. It's not like there were a lot of choices. Earlier versions of Windows dropped down to a
16-color mode after a catastrophic event. In that palette, the first background color (after black) is dark blue,
as represented by the HEX code 0x01. So maybe we can blame lazy programmers for the decision to use blue."
End the lesson of the day.

Good one, Gary! I came expecting the "blue screen of death", but this is better.

Wow, nice one...I still have one of these in the garage (wonder if it'll boot?) along with an Amiga 500, an Amiga 3000 and two Mac IIfx's (those puppies went for 5 figures back then, yikes). I wish I still had my TI-99/4A. :) Thanks for the memories!

Gag me with a spoon. What a dinosaur. Used to have two of these when I opened my first law office. What a trip that was.
