I can tell by the blue and yellow 'tail' (Lufthansa colors)...which is hard to see on this shot...and since my house is right in line with the flight path to Det. Metro Airport, I've seen these at lower altitudes, and that also helped me recognize it (actually, as far as the make & model, I found that on 'Airliners.net'...where there are many stunning photos of every kinda plane you can think of :)
I figgered someone might ask how I knew what that bird was :-)
