This is what we call a "mosquito eater", but I don't know the correct name.
I have no idea what he does with all that stuff on his face.
I see Sara's bird eying him hungrily a couple of thumbnails over.
Doesn't look very appetizing to me.

Not sure you really want to know but we called them mosquito-hawks or the real name is a crane fly.

Great macro shot! We call mosquito eaters Bats here... but this is no bat. Is it more like a preying mantis or a spider? How big are they? If it eats mosquitos, I'm issuing an invitation to the east coast now! (Dunk will do his best to ensure it's not a lunch invitation from the Cardinal ;-) )
