Taken last weekend at a wedding. My friend, (facing) caught the bouquet.
I'm not sure why the flowers are so much more in focus than the faces, but
I sort of like it like that.

With the way the flowers are more in focus, this would be an excellent advertising shot for a florist. You see the happy face that the flowers helped bring.
The camera focused on the flowers instead of the face (if that's what you intended). You could have used spot focus to make sure that the camera grabbed the face, in which event the flowers would probably have been slightly blurred. The ultimate results are really a matter of preference. Either way would have looked fine.
