Training burn conducted by the Mills River Fire Department in Henderson County, NC.
Several fires were set inside the house, and then put out as a training exercise. After that, the house was torched and allowed to burn to the ground, and that's when this picture was taken.

The firemen are spraying it with water, not to put it out, but to keep it from getting out of control.
