Although this wasn't taken with my old Uzi, it is the sort of photo that I would have taken with my old friend for the POW. Although time must march on, I miss those days.

I agree. The relationship with the old Uzi was a true "Love" affair. That's why I'll never sell mine. I'm happy to know that others feel the same as I do.
Although I've moved on to what is "technically better" with higher mega pixels and Big Glass, no other camera will ever hold the same place in my heart as the beloved Uzi.
Now that I think about it, I probably should put my Uzi back in the car and start using her again - like you do - more for "just because" shots like this.
I kind of dropped the Uzi when the Mark III came into my life, but I still love my old friend - even if she doesn't have tons of Megapixels. No camera can ever replace the Uzi. She is in a class of her own.

Nice picture, Liz! But not good for a sweets-aholic like me! I still take my UZI with me as often as possible. I have a Nikon D40 but I just don't love it like the UZI.
