I went on the organized worldwide Scott Kelby photoshoot last Saturday here in Honolulu , held to represent state of Hawaii. I think there was a walk on the Big Island too. Anyway, of the submissions that day for the contest, I won first prize. Don't know why.... but I know this was the only portrait submitted and I know the goal was to photograph something uniquely Hawaiian.
Anyway, I get a copy of his new book and my pic moves on to the finals. I don't stand a chance, but was glad to be picked.
