This is a striking composition with the bright area close then the mid ground in shadow and then the bright sky. I also like the lines and angles it does pull the eye.
The man made fence for me is an area I am not too sure about it works here sort of.
I do wonder if you took some other shots at the same time ? walking a bit forward to keep the yellow leaves in the shot but lost the blue grey fence.
Not sure if that would look good.The trees on the horizon look great and punchy.
The mood captured here is superb and I would of been there ages experimenting with lots of lens changes, position changes and filters.
Over all I like this.
