The Perfect Walking Around Lens

Since posting the initial shots in this gallery, I added many shots I have taken as part of my PAD/PESO galleries. Many of them do not have exif data, so I apologize for that. However, I decided to put the shots in this gallery to show a variety of shots with this lens.

Most of the shots were take without a tripod or any other form of stabilization (other than myself). If you have a tripod or steadier hands, you may get more sharpness at different lengths.

I have had this lens for a while now and love it. Anyone that has wanted shots while being in line (Graceland as one example) knows that it can be cumbersome to carry around a bunch of lenses and changing them out can be impractical. This lens has great coverage, especially if you have a Tamron 1.4x extender. It may not be as sharp on macros as my 100mm Canon or have the end range of my 100-400mm, but it does everything in the middle good enough for my photos when I want or need to travel light.

Your mileage may vary...
