October 17th

I had my camera with me and I noticed the beautiful sky while I was driving. I grabbed the camera and took a pic while I was slowing down for a red light.
When I got home, I noticed that I got a picture of Frankie (my pup) looking at it, too.

Smoke on the water. Fire in the sky? We used to get colors like this in the night skies over Detroit. Third shift. Rouge Steel Plant.

Jude, almost everything about the shot was blind luck. The main thing I wanted was to get the water in the shot (which I noticed at the last second). I did not even have time to look into the viewfinder to see exactly what was in it until I got home. FYI It was a sunset.

My god.. that's so totally cool.. he's staring at the sunset(rise?) .. how you got this straight is beyond me.. I can't even do that while standing stock still..lol

Great catch! The sky colors reflected are wonderful, and having the pup in the shot is an added bonus!
