I love your photos, Mr. Barlow. I am a figure painter and would like to have several of your pics as reference photos for planned paintings. Is it possible to secure permission from you? If so, how might this be accomplished

Mr. Barlow,
We are wanting to possibly use some of your beautiful shots of Louisville, Ky for a commercial. Please contact me with your contact info and pricing. Thanks! Your work is beautiful!

Hi Dan, thanks for stopping back at my galleries. The ball on bat was caught in a burst. I have been lucky to get a few but none quite so sharp as this. Sometimes being lucky is better than being good. Best wishes to you, Dan.

Hi Dan, thanks for taking the time to view and comment in my gallery. Coincidently enough, one of the kids that I shoot on a regular basis is headed to the University of Louisville to play baseball. He's a stud and will make a hug impact with his aggressive style of play. Your images are really nice, I can learn some lessons from your action shots.

Hi Dan,
Thanks for letting me into your world. Now I know that photography is truly your love. I haven't seen all of your galleries, but what I've seen is quality work. You have some future basketball and football players in your family. .... WOW!

I enjoyed the pics of the boys playing baseball. Thank you for capturing moments I could not.

Thanks to everyone for leaving messages in my guestbook. It was a fun season. I hope I got everyone at least once in the pictures that I have on my site. I took pictures where the action was, so some players show up in more pictures. My grandson (Danny Bracken)wore #21, and he's not in very many pictures. I enjoyed taking the pictures, and I hope the players and parents enjoy being able to download pictures of their football player or cheerleader.

Thanks again, Dan

Dear Mr. Barlow,
I would like to thank you for sharing these pictures. My son doesn't play on the Lobos, but one of your players, now a basketball teammate of his at school plays(ed) with you all and told my son about it. It was very nice of him to share the site with my son so our family could have memories to cherish for a lifetime.

I have saved a few of them to start a scrapbook as the other lady has mentioned. Too bad you didn't get a picture of my son (#2) when he ran the football back 70+ yards for a touchdown :). All and all it's nice to know there are still great young men in the world who can still be friends although they're on the opposite side of the field. That's what it's all about!

Sincerely,
Parent of a Louisville Patriot

D. Barlow ,
I am ao happy that you do this for the boys. My nephew Rayhven plays for the Lobos. He is #24. The pics get him hyped up befor the games. He runs to the computer on mondays to see the new pics from the last game. The only thing I have to say bad is you should have gotten better pics of him when he got that kick off return and ran a "TOUCHDOWN". I'll for give you this time:b. Keep up the good work.
SEE YOU AT PAPA JOHNS!!!!!!!! GO LOBOS GO!!!! GO LOBOS GO!!!! GO LOBOS GO!!!!!!

Mr. Barlow, These are wonderful! I am so thankful for all that you have done here. Patrick (#23) is in a lot of the shots and as I'm putting together a scrapbook for his football years, these shots will be great. He will be able to share them with his kids one day.

Hello D.,

I left you an answer to your questions in my guestbook.

You have some great pics here. I sincerely think your 10D had great colors. Cannot see anything wrong with it. If you like more saturated colors, check out Fred Miranda's website and his actions. (FM Warm-Cool and Digital Velvia, although you have to be careful with peoples' pics and Digital Velvia, esp. faces, it introduces a slight yellowish cast if overdone.) You can find them at:

http://www.fredmiranda.com/actions

Also, they are pretty cheap, between $12 and $15. Just don't buy all of them :):)

Good luck taking your pics and have fun...
