Around 0:30 a.m., "we (me & Buddy & Spring)" heard a HUGE BUMM and felt the whole house shaking (like small earthquake)!!!! Poor dogs.... They had NO idea what the heck happened.... I, too, didn't have ANY idea what it was although I thought it might have been a thunder (since we had some snow T-s tonight). When we went back yard, we (only me?) found out what happened.... Because of this, I lost a land line but DSL.... how lucky I was.... Next day, I saw (and heard "Boom! Bomb!") a huge spark AND SMELLED on a neighbor's telephone pole.... Poor neighbors.... They lost power for 4 days after that.... :-(
