Biên Hòa, Việt Nam - By 1970, when I was there, Bien Hoa was almost completely pacified.
It was not always so. In January into February 1968 Bien Hoa Air Base, near by Siagon & Long Binh Post were ingulfed in the country wide North Vietnamese Tet Offensive.
The city of Bien Hoa suffered considerable obvious damage which remained on the landscape.
This structure across from the Air Base was a constant reminder of the fierce battles in 1968. - 1970
