My grandmother was a Järvelä from Ullava. Her name was Maria Sofia. My great-grandparents and a great uncle is buried there ,but I'm not sure if they're on the church grounds or perhaps Kaustinen. They had a farm in Ullava and attended the Lutheran Church there. My cousin brought me to Ullava last August but the church was locked. I was also there 33 years ago and sat in the Sunday service with my mother and another cousin. I never forgot it...knowing that she went there as a young girl. She came to America when she was 21. I wanted to find out where my great grandfathers farm was... perhaps another trip someday. I enjoyed your pictures... thank you.
