In the Message-box on the Profilepage Iīve written what they were going to do.
And now itīs done.
Plastersplint for (at least) 6 weeks.
Stitches will be removed + checkup x-ray next week.
My arm ached like h___l when I woke up after surgery, but they have nice drugs and know how to use them!
So I didnīt have to chew my arm of as I was planning...
Had some "PainBuster"pumps loaded with local anesthetics into the incisions in arm and hip for 50 hours, one of them is the "lemon" in this crappy photo.
I only had to stay over night at hospital and I could take a taxi home the next day.
Slept away first two days and now Iīm fine.
Picked up Bonnie at the dogsitter on Friday evening (after I removed the PainBusters, so she didnīt get tangled into the catheters.)
Great bandage on my hand, I can use my fingers a lot.
Had to call the handsurgeons office and ask HOW much.
Thereīs plenty of screws in the radius, so it doesnīt shift, but no strain on the hand.
I tested the DSRLīs, but unfortunately canīt reach the shutterbutton. Crap!
Iīm only supposed to do my physio, nothing else :o(
Iīll better do as they say, want this to heal.
Iīm studying for my fork-lift certificate as entertainment.
The theoretical part of it at least. Doing SOME good!
