The Cubs got "Jetered" in Yankee Town...

New York

Just came back from my first visit to NY - went to see Cubs vs. NYY on Sat. and witnessed Jeter's first career grand slam!

I shot over 1K pictures in NY (with my new Mark II and my new 17-40L / 70-200L 2.8!) and will probably need at least another week of vacation to go through the pics.

I'm absolutely intrigued by this picture! I love the coulds. They're almost eerie, but still a spectacular shot. Well captured!

This is a unique perspective, not often seen of a stadium. Most people ignore the sky and focus on something internal. This reminds you that while the stadium is large, it's just a speck in the grand scheme.

Superb! The slight opening in the sky provides so much drama to this picture, balancing the image perfectly.

Great shot, the sky makes the picture, excellent B&W conversion

Excellent composition and lighting once again with clear bands of focus from the top to the bottom. Interesting imag to explore and pleasing just to sit back and enjoy. Cheers, John

The sky adds real drama to the shot, echoing the importance we tend to attach to the games grown men play. Nicely done.

WOW, very dramatic.

This is a great shot! The crowd on their feet in the foreground, the field in the background and the clouds in the upper portion make for a dramatic photo. It's doesn't hurt that I'm a huge Yankee fan too!
