great shot. the sideways rain or snow (not sure what it is) really gives this a stormy feeling. Makes me not want to go outside.

Well done. Dark, moody, wet. Really conveys a sense on being there. Love the b/w for this. V

Wonderful shot in a smashign atmosphere. Besides, it seems we almost are able to hear the wind and the rain...

I love this one too blu. Once again, well composed with excellent use of lighting and mono works well, especially with the dull, rainy/snowy conditions. You've captured the mood very well. One of the things I particularly like about this one is that it wasn't necessarily something most people would see to start with, so well done. Cheers, John

This could be used in a tourism campagn.

Oops! Just saw that it's Zurich. Sorry. Found the photo originally under "Top shots". In any case, it's still one of the finist pictures I've seen on PBase.

Guest 15-Feb-2005 12:39
Very dramatic image...
Guest 13-Feb-2005 16:05
Nothing like a driving rain or sleet storm that makes you just want to look out the window with a nice hot cup of tea. Drammatic composition.

Great mood and lighting. The diagonal of light and dark really add to the image.--Rene
