the author ?"Flaming June"Frederic, Lord Leighton

The information of Scott:

Frederic, Lord Leighton (1830-96) was a painter sculptor and man belonging to the "aesthetic" movement. He specialised in mythological subjects where mood and physical beauty and colour took precedence over story or moralising.

This piece is currently in GB on loan from the Museo de Arte de Ponce in Puerto Rico.
WOW !
We have the problem!Probably this is Edward Burne-Jones !
----------------------------------------------------------
The pre-Raphaelite artist Edward Burne-Jones (1833–1898) idealized myth in a way that was characteristic for his aesthetic: his three Graces are not ugly, but young and attractive; even the horrible head of Medusa !
