The Blues Music Galleries

This is a collection of my work photographing the artists, venues, audiences, and life surrounding America's root music -- The Blues. The words are captialized because this music form pervades most other music types including Jazz, Rock & Roll, Cajun, and Folk. There are many facets to Blues music that reflect geographic areas and their contribution to the ever evolving gendre.

I have included the former Daily Dose galleries here as well as special events such as Amanda's Roller Coaster, The Blues Cruise, and our trip to and through the Mississippi Delta, home of The Blues, in this collection.
Rather than continuing with the Daily Dose, I have chosen to feature special artists & events as they occur so the viewer can see all the images in one gallery.
I've also started the monthly "Blues Bits" galleries which contain some of my musings around my music experience which aren't part of the special galleries. Most of these are my attempt at being "artsy" and are things that I like -- hope you do too.

What a great collection and body of work from one of the finest Blues & Jazz photographers living right here in Phoenix,AZ...Mr.Dave Blake. Dave's unique and recognizable style and vision places him at the top of this select venue. It is always a pleasure to be part of his viewing audience.
