These images were taken during a short tour through the Ruta de Flores region of El Salvador before and after a medical mission in the City of Santa Ana.
El Salvador is a beautiful country with warm and wonderful people; I only hope that these images do justice to them.
This gallery is dedicated to Neyma and Emely, two little Salvadorian girls getting a new lease on life through the Medical Hands for Healing mission at Hospital San Juan de Dios in Santa Ana. Hopefully the painful experience now will prepare you for greater things when you get older. May your burdens grow smaller through the love of your mothers and family.
Wow - what an experience, thanks for posting Dave.

Dave,
You have such a gift in your ability to capture the essence of a country.
The people, their culture and religion; the architecture, the flora and landscape, and history are all beautifully represented in your images.
