The photos in this gallery take you on an expedition through the small New Hampshire communities of New Castle (New Hampshire's smallest town) and Portsmouth on the Atlantic Coast. New Castle is actually a small island. Both were incredibly lush and green during our mid-August visit and filled with remnants of American history. Westworth-by-the-Sea Hotel & Spa in New Castle was where we stayed during our visit. We highly recommend it to anyone!
