Hi
We live in N.E. Ohio and have many Raccoons.I found a baby on the side of the road and took him home, He had to be bottle fed for quite a while but finally learned to eat a variety of things. SugarSmacks are his favorite...LOL.Quibly the Raccoon was allowed to come and go as he pleased as soon as he was old enough and finally went back to the wild after about seven months.He still comes around occationally with his friends to eat our dog's food. The dog and Quibly wrestled together when the Raccoon was smaller so, the dog doesen't mind.He just watches four or five Raccoons eating his food and seems content.
Raccoons do not make good pets because they do what they want to do ...no matter what and they have problem solving abilitys.Also,they can be very dangerous if they don't know you.
