The Canadian Rockies are beautiful, just as is our Montana Rocky Mountain Front. But although we like wind as a partial answer to our energy needs, we hope to keep wind farms at a farther distance from the mountains. There's plenty of wind to be harnessed on the eastern plains, and views of the mountain front can remain natural.

Do you mind them? This is a beautiful scenic but it makes me wonder how it would look without the windmills. There's a big battle going on here about a windmill farm and most people are opposed because they feel it will detract from the natural beauty and impact tourism.
