Calgary's Lions Clubs celebrates the holidays with an elaborate, festive display of more than 70,000 Christmas lights at Confederation Park titled 'Festival of Lights'. The lights have been burning bright at the park since 1960 with a mix of imaginative displays. Today, it's one of the largest drive-by displays in western Canada, stretching more than 260 meters. There's a nativity scene and Santa Claus plus cartoon characters, Christmas greetings in 15 languages and lots of decorated trees.
