Green Heron Hunting (4 images)

HE HAD HIS EYE ON SOMETHING THAT I COULD
NOT SEE.. THEY ARE SO STEALTHY MOVING VERY
SLOWLY... AMAZING TO WATCH THEIR BEHAVIOR
ESPECIALLY UP CLOSE..


THE STRIKE BEGINS WITH AN OPEN BEAK...


HIS NECK SEEMS TO COME FROM NOWHERE.. ITS LONG AND
I CAN'T SEE WHERE HE KEEPS IT.. ??


ITS DIFFICULT TO SEE, BUT HE CAUGHT A SMALL MINNOW AND
ITS IN THE BEAK, SOON TO BE SWALLOWED..
