Snow Geese Migration (View "original" size) (4 images)

Squaw Creek NWR, Missouri

THE SNOW GEESE MIGRATION TO THE ARCTIC IS INCREDIBLE.
SQUAW CREEK NWR WAS THE PLACE TO BE IF YOU WERE A SNOW
GOOSE TODAY.

TOTAL OF 1.2 MILLION WERE HERE TODAY ALONG WITH THEIR
TRAVELING COMPANIONS, THE EAGLES (150). THE NOISE WAS
DEAFENING; THE BURSTS OF THE FLOCK FROM THE WATER CREATED
WALLS OF BIRDS. MORE KEPT ARRIVING ALL DAY..

AN INCREDIBLE PROCESS OF NATURE.. I AM PRIVILEGED TO WITNESS THIS SPECTACLE.

RESULT OF AN EAGLE FLYOVER

WOW! Tom and I don't think I've ever seen a Snow Goose, certainly never photographed one.
