When I was in Central Hindu College from 1957 to early 1960, this was the canteen known as ABHA canteen (next to King Edwards Hostel) Its contractor was one sh Moti Lal. Narain (popolarly called as NAARI) was the manager. At the end of this canteen complex, Moti Ram was allowed to run a NonVegetrian canteen during the dinner time after pooja holidays till summer break. This canteen was called Kamal canteen During my life -I am now touching seventies- I have never found any mess cheaper in rates and marvellous in quality of food. Average mess bill of a student hardly touched Rs 60/- per month. Food used to be lavish
