BCR modified the pilots with footboards for switching. I cut lengths of see through grating material from Kadee Apex boxcar roofwalks, which are available from Kadee as a sherpate part. A 2 pack of roofwalks was sufficient to do my 4 models. I framed up the walkway material with some .030 X .060 styrene strips, then attached the piece to the pilot. 2 triangular shaped piesces of .010 sheet styrene were added below the coupler pocket, then capped off with another piece of .010 styrene sheet.
