Yankee Boy Basin near Ouray, Colorado, is famous for its summer wildflowers. I was fortunate enough to spend some time there in July with a good friend. We trekked up the 4WD road and enjoyed an evening just above tree line, soaking up the fresh mountain air and smelling the abundant wildflowers.
