Wilson's Warbler is bright yellow
Orange-crowned Warbler is drab with fine streaks
Black-headed Grosbeak means it's spring!
Busy feeding to fuel its migration from the tropics on its way north to breed
Pacific-slope Flycatcher is also a spring migrant
Lark Sparrow, one handsome sparrow!
House Wren singing near its nest box
White-breasted Nuthatch had a nest nearby
If you squint, the bark looks like an owl face
Western Toad (captive)
Monkey Flower so pretty that I bought some in the nature center to plant at home
What a nice spring outing!
