Fabulous, wonderful pictures (and had a heck of a time finding the bald eagle!).

Trude Dear, As always wonderful photos and what joy to run into a former student who is developing into a bird watch! That's what it is all about. Much love. Thanks for sharing. Adrianne
At the end of 2015, we heard that bald eagles and golden eagles were being seen at Irvine Lake, a 750 acre fishing lake at the base of the Cleveland National Forest in Orange County, CA. We made 2 trips and enjoyed great views of raptors like Bald Eagle, Osprey, Northern Harrier, Peregrine Falcon, American Kestrel, and Red-tailed Hawks. A bonus was the Painted Redstart, a brightly colored warbler of the Southwest (AZ, NM, and Mexico), feeding on insects in the trees right next to the tackle shop!
