IT'S AN IMPRESSIVE COLLECTION OF LOCAL WILDLIFE, TRUDE. YOU SURE DID FIND A LOT OVER AT MASON. LOTS OF DIVERSITY AND YOU HAVE DONE MORE WONDERS WITH YOUR PHOTOS. EXCELLENT AS ALWAYS.
Sea and Sage Audubon Society (Irvine, Orange County, CA) offered a new week-long camp on local birds, bugs, and plants this week for 16 pre-teens. Today, we went off-site to nearby Mason Regional Park. Lots of interesting wildlife to see and in the afternoon we helped collect and spread seeds of two native plants as part of a restoration project by Back to Natives. Temperature was 91 in the shade and 98 in the sun so there were lots of dragonflies and butterflies out and about....and panting naturalists and camp kids!
