Eating lunch outside when we spied this Cooper's Hawk "hiding"
It flew out, peering intently at the birds in our yard
It's a juvenile (adults have solid gray back)
It fluffed in the cold and sat awhile
We hope it doesn't catch our Black Phoebe pair!
