Great photos! It is often that one can get a shot of the Loggerhead shrike.

Since i was there for the workshop as well it is especially fun to see what you captured. Love the nuthatch with the acorn and the last photo of the deer is so cool! It is talking to you! At least so Jon would say.

Trude,

I was selfishly awaiting my "Trude" pictures, wondering if they would ever arrive, and, lo and behold, there they are! Wonderful shots at both O'Neill and Bolsa Chica; lucky you to find two loggerhead shrikes (my very favorite birds next to my beloved vultures)! Thanks for the early Christmas present!
