This is what I do when I'm not taking pictures. Paint horses. This is a resin-cast horse, plain white that I painted as a black roan. This is also a picture within a picture as I took the background shot in Utah this May. This is done indoors as it rains a lot here in western WA. I cannot use strong lights because they will reflect off the "Luster" finish of the 16x20 print. I cannot seem to get matte posters any more. So I shoot at ISO 1000-1600 and at 1/30th if I'm using a hand held short lens in my basement.

The horse is painted with an airbrush mostly. I have done this work since about 1995.
