Flaming Geyser

This park was named after a natural gas vent that burned. That was 100 years ago. Now the flame is kept alive by propane!

I have been coming here all my life, but 24 years ago we moved 1 mile from it and visit it regularly. It has the Green River running through and around it. A big hay pasture. Big old trees. Picnic areas. Trails. And bear, deer, coyote and elk. The elk tend to only come down at night.
