My name is Frank Riley and I was born on Spike Island. My dad (Bill Riley) was the last lock keeper (I think). I was born in 1946. My dad was the lock keeper until he retired at 65, around about 1959.

Your pictures bring back a lot of memories for me and I thank you for putting them on view for all to see.
