- 8th May 2005 - Soprano retake!

Take 2 as they say. Another attempt at the PR shot of Band Chairman Paul.
First attempt was last Sunday's PaD... This is with the now famous 'Hollyoaks'
background.

Sunny but very cold wind down by the river!
Just as I was taking this - trying to get Paul to take that one
more step backwards into the river (the real PR shot!), when a foreign lady
came up and asked if we'd like her to take one of us both together :)

Usual band day. Playing, conducting the training band, so the camera was
again handed over to a friendly non-playing member. Today the honour falls
to Andrew Jackson. And he did a good job...

I did get a quick 'go' after the training band session, when I snapped the
PaD and caught Elizabeth and Jessica trying to sink a couple of swans
and some ducks with what I'm sure was a couple of loaves of bread :). Bit
blurry as I didn't pay attention to the focus sufficiently!!!!

By the way does anyone know the collective term for canoes?
We had a canoodle and a paddle as suggestions....

now famous 'hollyoaks' - I thought that was a contradiction in terms!

I'd like to see the In the River shot :)
Good fun, Ian.

He always appears to be having fun... so were the girls.

There's a bridge running through his head. ...or is that a musical bridge? ;-)

don't like seeing another guy's horn :)

I prefer the hollyoaks background that's a little more feminine... -)

Looks like a lot of fun playing that trumpet. Nice candit shot.

Looks like he should be playing the bit from the old "Tunes" advert!

Great PR shot!
