- 23rd April 2005 - tonight's back row

Firstly followers of Karen Steubens PaD should checkout today's. Some disturbing news http://www.pbase.com/kstuebin/image/42440774

Back to tonight. Due to people working etc., we had a treat for Chris (plays rep) at our concert tonight. His co-backrow players were all female. So Brian the PR officer wanted a publicity shot which was a great idea! .... and so here it is. A couple of earlier shots are not suitable for publication :) But may appear on the band website at some stage!

Earlier shot of the organ pipes was the provisional PaD. Tonight was also the first
solo for Kirsty on horn.... cue another publicity shot....

Busy time for banding. Tomorrow morning at 10am we're playing for a charity walk, and
then marching through Chester with the St George's day parade. Monday sees the
first training band outing (with me waving the stick), and then the training band is
playing for the opening of a new athletics track on Thursday with VIP's and celebs!
Both bands then at Tatton Park on Saturday and Sunday, and the following weekend
at The Groves by the river in Chester. Let me know if you'd like to come and
have a go at shooting brass at any of these events! All welcome :)

It is fabulous that we have an actual member of a marching band of our very own here on PaD!
Have a great time - wish I could be there to see and listen.

What a funny shot Ian! Sounds like you're very busy-glad you posted all these. And thanks for the heads up on Karen, would have gotten there, but glad it was sooner than later.
