- 16th Feb 2005 - Superhighways

Stayed in today, preparing cv's, sorting networking
meetings, interview preparation. On the plus side it
meant I could pop to pbase every now and then and keep up!

Everyone's stayed in it seemed.... so I was determined to
get out and about. Took number 2 son with me on the way
to pick up Helen from Athletics. Aim was to try for some
refinery shots... but we couldn't resist exploring the canal
at Stoak. This is the M53 crossing the canal... each
the superhighway of its day :)

Looking the otherway.... you can't see the 2 swans, but
they're there!!!

And these are the refined attempts.... and a Cheshire tree shot!

The blk/white is my favorite. I like how you captured the reflections, the overall mood of this image.

Interesting - almost an eerie effect. I like the b&w too!

I like your comment about each being the superhighway of its day, makes you wonder what it used to look like around there before motorways.

We both have canal pictures for todays PAD. Funny!! It looks colder in Sweden.
